Blessing of Psalm 1, The Fate of the Righteous:

But I delight in the law of the LORD, I meditate on Your law, day and night. I am like a tree that has been planted beside running waters, which will provide its fruit in its time, and its leaf will not fall away, and all things whatsoever that I do will prosper. For You, LORD, watch over my way.”

Blessing of Psalm 3 In Time of Persecution:

“O LORD, how many are my foes! Many are rising against me. But You, O LORD, are a shield around me. You are my glory, and the One who lifts up my head. O LORD, I cry out to You, and You answer me from Your holy hill. I lie down and sleep and wake again, for You, o LORD, sustain me. I am not afraid of tens of thousands of people who have set themselves against me all around. Rise up, O LORD! Deliver me o my God! For you strike all my enemies. Deliverance belongs to You, o LORD. May Your blessing be on me!”

Blessing of Psalm 4 Trust During Adversity:

“O LORD, You answer me when I calls to You, for You are my saving God. In my troubles, You clear a way. You show me favor. You hear my prayer. I know that You, o LORD, work wonders for Your faithful; You hear when I call out. I trust in You, o LORD. May I see better times! LORD, show me the light of your face! You have given my heart more joy than when grain and wine abound. In peace, I shall both lie down and sleep, for You alone, o LORD, make me secure.”

Blessing of Psalm 23 My Shepherd:

“O LORD, You are my shepherd, I shall not want. You make me lie down in green pastures. You lead me beside still waters. You restore my soul. You lead me in right paths for Your Name’s sake. Even though I walk through the darkest valley, I fear no evil; for You are with me: Your rod and Your staff comfort me. You prepare a table before me in the presence of my enemies. You anoint my head with oil; my cup overflows. Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life. I shall dwell in the house of the LORD forever.”

Blessing of Psalm 27 Protection and Safety:

“O LORD, You are my light and my salvation: whom should I fear? You, LORD, are the stronghold of my life: of whom should I be afraid? When evildoers assail me to devour my flesh—my adversaries and foes—they shall stumble and fall. Though an army encamp against me, my heart shall not fear; though war rises up against me, yet I will be confident. One thing I ask of You, o LORD, that I seek after: to live in Your house all the days of my life, to behold Your beauty, o LORD, and to inquire in Your temple. For You will hide me in Your shelter in the day of trouble; You will conceal me under the cover of Your tent; You will set me high on a rock. Now my head is lifted up above my enemies all around me, and I will offer in Your tent sacrifices with shouts of joy; I will sing and make melody to You, o LORD. Hear, O LORD, when I cry aloud, be gracious to me and answer me. My heart hears You say: “Come, seek My face!” Your face, LORD, do I seek. Do not hide Your face from me. Do not turn your servant away in anger, You who have been my help. Do not cast me off, do not forsake me, O God of my salvation! I know this: I shall see the goodness of the LORD in the land of the living. I wait for the LORD. I let my heart take courage; I wait for the LORD!”

Blessing of Psalm 91 Protection Against Evil:

“O LORD, o Most High, may I live in Your shelter, o Almighty God, may I abide in Your shadow. I declare to You: ‘You are my refuge and my fortress; my God, in whom I trust.’ For You will deliver me from the snare of the fowler and from the deadly pestilence; You will cover me with Your pinions, and under Your wings I will find refuge; Your faithfulness is a shield and a buckler. I will not fear the terror of the night, or the arrow that flies by day, or the pestilence that stalks in darkness, or the destruction that wastes at noonday. A thousand may fall at my side, ten thousand at my right hand, but it will not come near me. I make the LORD my refuge, the Most High my dwelling-place, and no evil shall befall me, no scourge come near my tent. For You, o LORD, will command Your angels to guard over me in all my ways. On their hands they will bear me up, so that I will not dash my foot against a stone. I will tread on the lion and the adder. The young lion and the serpent I will trample under foot. Because I love You, O LORD, You will deliver me; You protect those who know Your Name. When I call to You, You will answer me; You will be with me in trouble, You will rescue me and honor me. With long life will You satisfy me, and show me Your salvation” (Is 54:17). “No weapon that is fashioned against me, shall prosper, and I shall refute every tongue that rises against me in judgement. This is the inheritance of You servants, o LORD, and my vindication comes from You.”

Blessing of Psalm 121 The LORD is my Protector:

“O LORD, I lift up my eyes to the hills: from where will my help come? My help comes from You, o LORD, who made heaven and earth. You will not let my foot be moved; You who keep me, You do not slumber. You who keeps Israel will neither slumber nor sleep. The LORD is my keeper; the LORD is my shade at my right hand. The sun shall not strike me by day, nor the moon by night. The LORD will keep me from all evil; He will keep my life. The LORD will keep me going out and my coming in from this time on and for evermore.”

Blessing of Psalm 139 God Knows Everything and Can Do Anything:

“O LORD, you have searched me and know me. You know when I sit down and when I rise up; You discern my thoughts from far away. You search out my path and my lying down, and are acquainted with all my ways. Even before a word is on my tongue, O LORD, You know it completely. You hem me in, behind and before, and lay Your hand upon me. You formed my inward parts; You knit me together in my mother’s womb. I praise you, for I am fearfully and wonderfully made. Wonderful are Your works. My frame was not hidden from You, when I was being made in secret, intricately woven in the depths of the earth. Your eyes beheld my unformed substance. In Your book were written all the days that were formed for me, when none of them as yet existed. Search me, O God, and know my heart; test me and know my thoughts. See if there is any wicked way in me, and lead me in the way everlasting.”

For a married person:

“O LORD, bless me with a good spouse. grant us long life and good health together. Bless us with healthy communication with each other, with harmony. May we bless each other with kind words and love each other tenderly. O LORD, bless our home. May it be a sanctuary of rest and renewal, a haven where laughter and the sounds of joy burst forth, where love and unconditional acceptance of one another are ever present.”

Jacob’s Blessing in Gn 49:24–26:

“O LORD, bestow on me my ancestor Jacob’s blessing. I receive it. ‘By the Strong Arm of Jacob, by the Name of the Shepherd, by the Rock of Israel, may your bow remain taut, and may your arms remain agile. The God of your father will help you; the Almighty will bless you with blessings of heaven above, blessings of the deep that lies beneath, blessings of the breasts and of the womb. May the blessings of your father be stronger than the blessings of the eternal mountains, the bounties of the everlasting hills; may they be on your head, on the brow of you, the consecrated of the LORD.’ ”

Blessing of Moses in Dt 28:

“O LORD, bestow on me my ancestor Moses’ blessing. I receive it. ‘Blessed shall you be in the city. Blessed shall you be in the field, blessed shall be the fruit of your womb, the fruit of your ground, and the fruit of your livestock, both the increase of your cattle and the issue of your flock. Blessed shall you be when you come in, and blessed shall you be when you go out. The LORD will cause your enemies who rise against you to be defeated before you; they shall come out against you one way, and flee before you seven ways. The LORD will command the blessing upon you in your barns, and in all that you undertake; He will bless you in the land that the LORD your God is giving you. The LORD will open for you His rich storehouse, the heavens, to give the rain of your land in its season and to bless all your undertakings. You will lend to many nations, but you will not borrow. The LORD will make you the head, and not the tail; you shall be only at the top, and not at the bottom.’ ”

First Blessing from Ephesians 1 Destiny:

Blessed are You, o God and Father of our LORD Jesus Christ, who has blessed me in Christ with every spiritual blessing in the heavenly places” Ep 1:3.

“You chose me in Christ before the foundation of the world to be holy and blameless before You in love. You destined me for adoption as Your child through Jesus Christ, according to the good pleasure of Your will” Ep 1:4-5.

“In Jesus I have redemption through His Blood, the forgiveness of my trespasses, according to the riches of Your Grace” Ep 1:7.

“You, o Father, have lavished on me all wisdom and insight, You has made known to me, the mystery of Your will, according to Your good pleasure that You set forth in Christ, as a plan for the fullness of time, to gather up all things in Jesus, things in heaven and things on earth” Ep 1:8–10.

“In Christ I have also obtained an inheritance, having been destined according to the purpose of You, Father, who accomplishes all things according to Your counsel and will, so that I, who has set my hope on Christ, might live for the praise of His glory” Ep 1:11–12.

“In Jesus, I also, when I had heard the word of truth, the gospel of my salvation, and had believed in Your Son, I was marked with the seal of the promised Holy Spirit” Ep 1:13. Thank you, LORD.

Second Blessing from Ephesians 1: Spirit of Wisdom and Revelation:

“O God of our LORD Jesus Christ, the Father of glory, give me a spirit of wisdom and revelation as I come to know You, so that, with the eyes of my heart enlightened, I may know what is the hope to which You have called me, what are the riches of Your glorious inheritance among the saints, and what is the immeasurable greatness of Your power for me who believes, according to the working of Your great power. O LORD, You put this power to work in Christ when You raised Him from the dead and seated Him at Your right hand in the heavenly places, far above all rule and authority and power and dominion, and above every name that is named, not only in this age but also in the age to come. And You have put all things under Christ’s feet and have made Him the head over all things for the Church, which is His body, the fullness of Him who fills all in all” Ep 1:17–23.

Third Blessing of Ephesians 3: Prayer for the Inner Man:

“For this reason, I bow my knees before You, Father, from whom every family in heaven and on earth takes its name. According to the riches of Your glory, grant that I may be strengthened in my inner being with power through Your Spirit, and that Christ may dwell in my heart through faith, as I am being rooted and grounded in love. I pray that I may have the power to comprehend, with all the saints, what is the breadth and length and height and depth, and to know the love of Christ that surpasses knowledge, so that I may be filled with all Your fullness. Now to You, Father, who, by the power at work within me, are able to accomplish abundantly far more than all I can ask or imagine, to You be glory in the church and in Christ Jesus to all generations, for ever and ever” Ep 3:14–21.

Blessing of Colossians 1 – 3 Christ in me, my Hope of Glory:

“O Heavenly Father, fill me with the knowledge of Your will in all spiritual wisdom and understanding, so that I may lead a life worthy of You, fully pleasing to You, as I bear fruit in every good work and as I grow in the knowledge of You. May I be made strong with all the strength that comes from Your glorious power, and may I be prepared to endure everything with patience, while joyfully giving thanks to You, Father, who have enabled me to share in the inheritance of the saints in the light. You have rescued me from the power of darkness and transferred me into the Kingdom of Your beloved Son, in whom I have redemption, the forgiveness of sins. To me, LORD, you have chosen to make known the riches of the glory of this mystery, which is Christ in me, the hope of glory. Send me all the riches of assured understanding and the knowledge of Your mystery, that is, Christ Himself, in whom are hidden all the treasures of wisdom and knowledge. As I therefore have received Christ Jesus the LORD, may I continue to live my life in Him, rooted and built up in Him and established in the faith, just as I was taught, abounding in thanksgiving. For in Jesus the whole fullness of deity dwells bodily, and I have come to fullness in Him, who is the head of every ruler and authority. In Him also, I was circumcised with a spiritual circumcision, by putting off the body of the flesh in the circumcision of Christ; when I was buried with Him in baptism, I was also raised with Him through faith in the power of God, who raised Him from the dead. And I was dead in trespasses and the uncircumcision of my flesh, You, Father, made me alive together with Him, when He forgave all my trespasses, erasing the record that stood against me with its legal demands. You, Father, set this aside, nailing it to the cross. Christ disarmed the rulers and authorities and made a public example of them, triumphing over them in it. If with Christ I died to the Elemental spirits of the universe, why would I live as if I still belonged to the world? I set my mind on things that are above, not on things that are on earth, for I have died, and my life is hidden with Christ in You, Heavenly Father. I will put to death, therefore, whatever in me is earthly: fornication, impurity, passion, evil desire, and greed (which is idolatry). anger, wrath, malice, slander, and abusive language from my mouth. You, LORD, see that I commit to strip off the old self with its practices and to clothe myself with the new self, which is being renewed in knowledge according to the image of its creator. As Your chosen one, holy and beloved, I cloth myself with compassion, kindness, humility, meekness, and patience. I forgive my neighbor; just as the LORD has forgiven me, so I also agree to forgive. Above all, I cloth myself with love, which binds everything together in perfect harmony. I let the word of Christ dwell in me richly in the Spirit through Jesus, Your Son, my LORD.”
